Mr. Tran Trong Binh Executive Partner Education: Law School, Hanoi National University, LLM Capacity: Mr. Binh has more than 20 years of professional experience and specializes in the practice area of dispute resolution, investment law, corporate, commercial, real estate, construction and labour law. Prior to joining BDLAW in 2023, he notably worked as a legal consultant in InvestConsult Legal Services, as in-house legal counsel in Vinaconex Corporation, and as a senior lawyer in Gide Loyette Nouel (a French law firm) and then Of-Counsel of Audier & Partners Vietnam LLC (a French law firm) from 2008 to 2023. He has advised and/or joined teams of international counsels to act as representatives for a number of clients in the resolution of commercial and investment disputes involving both local and foreign invested companies, and international corporations under the rules of arbitrations of the ICC, the Japanese Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA), Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC) and Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC). He has acted as protecting lawyer/authorized representative for clients in the resolution of disputes under the Civil Proceeding Code (CPC) before Vietnamese courts. He has also participated in many cases on recognition and enforcement in Vietnam of foreign arbitral awards under the CPC and the 1958 Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards.
